Oh, Sally. You just don’t HAVE any notches between 0 and 60, do you.
(Though considering Charlie’s assessment of her, I’m getting the feeling that this is going to be a pretty short fight.)
Hm. Took a look at the bounty posters on the last couple pages, and a… question started percolating. After a certain point, demon plague infected individuals are composed pretty much entirely of plague bile, which can be molded and morphed by that individual’s soul. When they lose themselves to the plague, it’s known that they lose form and turn into a regular demon. So the human form is due to them having a human mind/soul/whatever.
So that being said: If there’s a bounty for a fully fledged demon, dead or alive… how do you bring it in “dead”? Wouldn’t it just collapse into an unidentifiable pile of plague bile/a tinier demon once killed? Or if demons close to death have a very small amount of plague bile left, wouldn’t a fully dead one just be… thin air? Do you bring in a close possession of theirs to prove the bounty (like somehow separating Bael from his hat)? Do you have to like… take a video of you murdering them? Could a demon fake their own death by willingly shapeshifting into a more traditional demon shape?
The particulars of how bounties work for the Slayers is probably something I’ll have to dive into some depth on at some point. But for the moment I’ll just say that to even get a bounty at all you’ve gotta be the kind of person who it’ll be obvious to the world when you’re out of the game. People with bounties make waves.
But proof doesn’t hurt if you actually want to get paid. Alive is certainly easier for that.

Ah, good to know, thank you! I hope you don’t mind when I do speculative question stuff like this. Sometimes my brain just goes on tangents.
