I don’t think Santis is as “weak” as JeriColt says he is. because there is a great difference between Strength and Power, and Santis is well aware of what that difference is. Just because he cant bench press tanker trucks, doesn’t mean he cannot ruin your day.
Also I approve of Santis’s decision of remaining human. I’d much rather wait for the safer, refined, and more importantly well tested version of immortality comes out than trying anything that dicks with the soul as much as necromancy.
“We fought and survived because we are weak! In every time, in every world the strong polish their fangs while the weak polish their wisdom. Why are we in such danger now? Because fangs of the strong have been broken and they have learned to polish their wisdom. The wisdom and knowledge that we, the weak, once monopolized… The power to survive… The strong have obtained them all and have brought us to this state!
Yet, we are the weak! We are the weak, just as we have always been! Yes, nothing has changed at all! The strong may imitate our weapons, but they will never master them! Because the heart of our weapons lie a cowardice born of almost humiliating weakness. The cowardice has given us the wisdom to escape from magic. This cowardice has given us the wisdom, born from learning and experience, to predict the future itself!
We are the weak! We are the proud weak who have, throughout history, torn out the throats of those who sit back and boast of their strength!
We hereby declare that we will live as the weak, fight as the weak, and as the weak we will destroy the strong! As we once were, and as we will always be… Accept the fact that we are the weakest… One that can become anything… Because we were born with nothing!”
…I dunno… I thought of that speech (kudos to whoever knows where it comes from) when Santris said his cool line… Might not be totally appropriate but I DON’T CARE.

That line is badass.
“I build dragons, I sell swords”

As cool as Santris is being here, I find myself distracted by the “viscous dragon”.
Viscous means “thick and sticky”.
Were you, perhaps, going for “vicious” instead?
