You have absolutely no idea how close I was to resorting to a Sigvaldi Magic Lesson to explain how this happened. Like I have the script for it and everything... And you can claim you'd prefer that but it's basically cheating on my end.

So, just making sure, but Jericho pulled off the remains of his own face on the previous page? Because it looks like his head is invisible apart from the hair on this page.

It might have been hard to make out but after Kolt got shot through the wall by Azgrut’s laser, his face was burnt off completely. The “face” in the following pages was a hunk of left over skull with Kolt’s markings on it. Jericho ripped that off, leaving behind a lump of bile where his brain and other “things inside of head” should be.

Ah, curse the poor contrast on my monitor. When I read the previous strip, I thought Jericho was making a fist, not holding a chunk of “Kolt” in his hand. o.o

hold up a second. In the last panel, Santris said that Jericho had died. So he was still alive? That does make some sense considering that his body is supposed to produce that acidic fluid and corpses, walking or not, don’t really ‘produce’ anything.

From what I’ve gathered, Kolt infected Jericho, Santris runs him through with the Leystone baton, essentially kills Kolt which in turn frees Jericho while the infection Kolt left him with ‘reanimates’ him?

Damnit, I think we’re going to need Sigvaldi to really explain this one. Go ahead and bring him in.

When you kill a zombie you can still say that they died. The leystone “killed” him by dispelling the necromancy binding his soul to his body. That’s what Santris was getting at when he had said “that corpse no longer moves under it’s own power.

So Yes Jericho was undead… and now he’s just dead. But since Kolt was possessing him when he died his soul is still around, bound to Kolt’s body… ya know, the same thing Victus and Bael did except that it’s against Kolt’s will and Jericho usurped him as the dominant personality of this “fusion”.

Ah, cool. Gotta say, I didn’t think Jericho was powerful enough to overtake someone like Kolt. Add in what’s on the next page and, well… Jericho got one hell of a promotion.
