A time skip just to steer clear of those two being stuck together?
Kinda a shame they don’t seem to play nice together given you seemed to like Victus possessed by Bael.
Well, I put myself in a strange position. Victus being possessed by Bael was a way to take a powerful knowledgeable character out of the equation early into the story. When Victus came in and showed what he was really made of versus Kolt it had a big impact because he had taken a back seat for so long.
But With the bodies swapped around and both of them able to speak out of one mouth and with plenty to say to each other I had a problem I hadn’t thought through without one decided upon consistent solution.
The only difference shown between Bael speaking and Victus speaking was that Bael’s eye color changed… this doesn’t read well in a dark cave or on panels that aren’t close up shots. So I gave them different colored text… not something I particularly liked the look of, but a solution none the less.
But above all, it was visually dull to have shots of Bael for both sides of a conversation. That’s kinda why Cerene’s other bodies do weird three stooges routines with each other. But Bael’s the type to lean against things and Victus is the type to stand up straight, but neither of them tend to move around much while talking to people.
But all that said, I had always planned for there to be very little screen time with them sharing Bael’s body.
