Get ready for more plants. The reboot has lots of plants, both naturally occurring and Kuin cultivated. The updated setting has given me a good bit of room to play around with designing my on flora to fill out the world with.
I mean that’s a pretty geometric tree right there. I like having excuses to do something interesting with mundane assets, especially something as complex trees with their random branches and leaves. Like sure there is always the option to go simple. A brown rectangle with a green circle on top can read as a tree in a pinch, but I’d rather sidestep the scale of complexity vs simplicity entirely and do something fun.
And that’s how I ended up with the block trees. There will be a better view of them soon. They’re kinda silly but they make me happy.
Arrie’s awkward, but I don’t think she’s as socially inept as Solstice or anti-social like Roni or as short-tempered as Kevin or no-nonsense as Phylo. So, all-in-all, we’re in pretty good standing. She can hold a pleasant conversation. That’s way better than the average.
Now her following up on what she’s asked? Eh… Kinda so-so. I’d personally delay this decision as long as possible because the idea freaks me out. That’s a lot of responsibility and it’s not conducive to my general laziness.
Sam immediately asking for clarification on Arrie’s literalness implies that she has just walked away from conversations before. Hopefully nothing as important as possible Council membership.
I like the new Lore Codex! Looking forward to seeing the character and other sections get expanded as we move forward.
On that note, actually, does the Council only have the four seats mentioned in the current entry, or are there other, lesser positions that handle other aspects of life in Thal’nasia? Law enforcement, architecture/infrastructure, arts and culture?
WH. ARRIE. YOU CAN’T LEAVE WITHOUT SAYING *ANYTHING*.
Also: Other than ones that were being weaponized, I doooo believe those are the first living plants we’ve seen!

AW heck yeah! Can’t wait to see it!!
I mean. It would be irresponsible for Arrie to leave and no tell anyone where she was.

There are other groups with their own hierarchies and leaders that maintain their own fields, but the Council itself only has the four seats.
Unsurprisingly we’ll be seeing quite a bit from the law enforcement organizations of Thal’nasia.
Yay, ominous foreshadowing! The best kind.
