151: Abstract
Something I’ve wanted to do for a long time is make animated installments of the comic. In the long run I’m planning to make an entire series of prequel stories. I hate to stop the story for flashbacks and these would take too long to make to place an animation in the place of a comic.
Anyway to that end, I’ve begun testing some techniques and I came up with this over the weekend.
If you ever wondered what “kyaaa” sounded like, now you finally get to know.
That sound is now High Octane Nightmare Fuel.

I first started reading this comic because the character design is worth some considerable nostalgia to me. It reminds me of the CG cutscenes from Guardian’s Crusade, an old RPG for the PS1.
And now, seeing Iggy standing there with what looks like a makeshift giant sword, I am reminded of a character from that game called “Darkbeat” while the game’s boss track plays in my head.
Anyway, I’m liking this comic so far. Keep up the good work!
