Yes cause the fact that he’s now completely white with electric energy has no meaning creepy vampire man.

I was wondering if he could do that, now I’m guessing that he also charged his nerve system and has super-human reflexes along with the speed to match.
And so you know wights are the name for a type of undead that drain life energy through touch but are less resistent then vampires and can reproduce by draining anyone dry, turning the drained person into a wight

I chose Wight as the name of the family as an obscure and catchy word for “undead” I’m most familiar with the term from Castlevania and World of Warcraft where they rarely stand out from the other types of undead and no special moves to call their own. Though I have heard that’s how the DnD version works.

Other than that, it’s just a really obscure type of monster, so the name suits them without bludgeoning people over the head with the reference. The Wight Family, isn’t specifically a family of wights… but they have a clear theme of undeath going on.

I read something somewhere about Thomas Edison electrocuting an elephant to prove Nikola Tesla wrong. If I knew more about the event, I would make some witty analogy to the present situation. Also Arthur’s probably glad he gets to stay out of this round of the action.

Glowing Charlie makes me happy for no logical reason. HE’S SHINY.

Yeah, it was during the War of Currents when Tesla was promoting AC and Edison was promoting DC. Edison wanted to prove that AC was too dangerous for widespread use, so although he didn’t approve of the death penalty, he used AC to electrocute an elephant that had killed a bunch of people. Of course, Tesla won the war and we use AC for most things today, so all the incident really did was prove that Edison was even more of a jerk.

Not to mention that DC is really impractical to transmit over the power lines.

It’s fine for a small device and the like, but the way resistance in DC increases with length means that you’d need a really huge cross-section for the cables to transmit it.

AC can get away with inch-thick cables for MILES upon MILES of coverage.

By the look on the guy’s face in the last panel, I’d say that whatever the lightning guy’s doing there is hurting him at least a bit. Looks slightly worried I think…

On a side note: I’m horrible with names unless I decide to look them up while typing.
