Huh, those shoulder spike things left his body and stayed on his…shadow form? Spirit form? I don’t even know if that’s actually Max or if it’s some puppet of Arthur’s, or both.
Either way, I get the feeling that if Arthur was more aggressive/assertive and less apathetic about seemingly everything, these fights would be over a LOT faster.

I’d have to agree with Eirikr on this. If Arthur took a stand more often, things would get done much quicker than if he didn’t. He’s insanely powerful from what we’ve seen, possibly more powerful than his brother. He’s a full-blown necromancer, for crying out loud!
Well…to be honest he is powerful…and power makes you stupid…he’s probably following the mind set that both opponents are beneath him…or at least if my gut instinct on how most fantasy battles play out is right…
