I’m right there with ya, Kolt! XD
I thought shit got real with William? Then again, this is a flashback…
Dang he pops in and out of people fast! Then again, I guess practice makes creepy- I mean perfect
wait…when did he get unparalyzed?
This scene takes place a few weeks after the other flashbacks. So he did get over his paralysis off screen. But I can explain why.
He caught the plague while he was face down in the bile. Since the plague regenerates injuries by converting the body into plague bile… Bael’s paralysis put him in the express lane for being completely made of sludge.
It’s interesting that Bael’s vest, when he comes out of Sally is the same color as her shirt. Why is that? Does he just unconsciously dye job himself sometimes, just like he did intentionally with Sally and Victus?
I’m a little confused by this, I thought Grenner had control of the thing for the most part by the end of the last flashback, and now here he is again more or less having lost it I’m assuming…So I suppose he kept himself from being completely assimilated, but still has trouble with the whole hive mind of demons in his head trying to control him…
Am I even making sense? Is my confusion even making sense? ?_?
When Grenner was chucked into the leyline he should have been killed completely. Think of the leyline as an river made of demons… demons that could be as small as a single cell. They churn and rage and devour each other till they form into something larger.
Grenner defied that process. Despite being eaten his will was too strong to be over written by the demons that ate him, causing the new body that was formed in the process to resemble the first as it is still bound to his soul.
There is still far far too much demon in him for that soul to control that body… You can’t change the tides just because you have a lifeboat.
