Man, you’re right. I had this whole “Forget Alistair, SHE’S alive, and without clinical depression!” joke I was going to make, but it’s ruined now.
I should have realized it without it being pointed out, as not only does she have a different name, different relation to Alistair, actual emotional responses, a different outfit, and a different hairstyle, but she actually has boobs as well. I don’t think Merry could be more different than Samantha if she tried.
There’s a reason the emblem for the Wight family is a creepy smile of sharp teeth. Filing down teeth to a point is something of a family tradition. Jericho and Merry have it too (though Merry just barely showed it off in the last panel here). Most of the other Wights don’t have the big bared teeth expressions so it’s never very obvious, but I’ll say that Arthur is the only one who breaks the tradition.
Yay! Alaster is back!
AND NOT DEAD!!!
err…undead.
yet.
both of em no wonder shes so emo bout it its recent
wait, no, thats a different little girl with a giant skull hairclip
Meredith not Samantha

…maybe if she smiled…
is that a SCYTHE on her back? 😮
Indeed it is. Given the subtle themes running through the Wight family, I’m actually kinda surprised it took this long for one to show up. 😉
It’s kinda telling that these two are the only two to date who have had a discussion like they’re family. At least to my ears.
The only two of the Wight family, I mean.
I wish there was an edit comment option.
Also, Alistair already has pointed teeth. Does he have the “Plague” already or did he file them down just to be creepy?
Don’t answer “Yes.”
