This explains so much as to why the comic’s TVtropes pages hasn’t been updated in about 4 months…

      What’s giving you trouble?

Well through copying how everyone else did it on other pages I’ve managed to figure out a few things, like how to get links and spoiler stuff to work, but it took me forever to piece together. Honestly my only issue for the moment is being patient enough with everything so that I can find all the awesome pages I want to set up and figuring out what to spoiler tag and such.

watch out, i got banned out of no where my 1st time on the site when I added mary sue to dominic deegan’s page. god if anything defines that term its deegan. The main charactors could take on gods and win 10 pages after being introduced as a lvl 1 black mage or a small town seer.

wait, no it was marty, or whatever…I can’t exactly remember cause it was the last time I went there(if they’re gonna be like that why should i give them hits) It was whatever the one that meant ridiculously overpowered god mode character that all other characters exist solely to worship

now that I’ve gone to take a look(I went to see suppression’s page anyway) I guess I(my editor log in name, on its first and only day) had added(all to the same comic dominic deegan on my last day bothering to read it when I got fed up overlooking all that and decided there could be no plot anymore):
          black hole sue, cannon sue
, marty sue, mary sue, new powers as plot demands, god mode sue author filibuster and thirty sue pileup. 🙂

also one I can’t seem to find that meant “everybody who disagrees with a main character’s viewpoint is either ridiculously ignorant or secretly evil, and the disagreement often depends on info neither party actually had until much later and the main character was ridiculously closed mindedly zealous about it but eventually justified so tis cool. also the disagreeing side existed only to disagree and be knocked down, and probably died a “karmic” death a few pages later” It was straw something I think…..
but come to think of it i can’t recall what that specific one was even referring to and I have seen much worse examples of it so maybe I had applied this last one to something else that day, it was probably some other webcomic :/

Whatever. The specifics aren’t that importatn. Just that having not broken any rules I could find I logged in the next time i wanted ot do something a few weeks later to a ‘login failed you are banned’ popup. best I could figure I had either did too much too fast and got labeled spam or had run afowl of some random mod by critisizing his favorite webcomic.

            ___________________________
unrelated but whats up with this weird crusade they’ve got going over there with changing the generic use of “him” to “her” when gender or target is unspecified? Not only does it seem kindof odd as every other usage of a generic pronoun I have seen was male but there is a good deal of alternate language precedence for him to be correct(Ex spanish they is the male form unless gender is known for all members and they are all female. One male or unknown males the bunch no matter how many confirmed woman in the “they” or “you”) and on top of that even english language precedence supports “him” such as “the race of man” or “modern man” meaning all humans not just the ones who wear their genitals on the outside. (much as the common use species of cow is the name of its female(cow) when you aren’t saying “human” then the one for homosapian is man and just happens to also be used for males of the species)

SO its stupid for several reasons, among them that 1 who cares and what does it matter, 2 its actually more sexist to be bothered by generic “he” or attempt to change it 3 he is shorter than she and is therefore 33%more efficient to type and 4 once again why bother who cares because it deserves to be counted twice 😛

not that this is relevant because I had not expressed such views so couldn’t possibly have anything to do with anything. Just always seemed weird to me.

Did you post that kinda stuff right onto the main trope page of that comic? Cause that stuff goes under the “your mileage may vary” tab and even then they kinda frown upon flat out ranting. If you go there looking to talk about things you don’t like, then yeah, there are toes to be stepped on. I mean hell they go out of their way to describe fricking TWILIGHT neutrally despite it being hated so thoroughly by the internet at large. That’s not to say you can’t find the bashing of it just under the surface but that’s the point… you just don’t put that stuff on the main page.

Really, if you’ve got this kinda deegan inspired rant to go into over HERE for no reason, I can only imagine what you did over there. =P

but now I’m extremely to left field and nothing to do with suppression so may as well delete all my stuff lol

mostly it was just me trying to clarify the one I meant since there are like 1000 of them. so I kept replacing it every few seconds lol

pretty much like I did here, each post was intended to add mroe info to the one before, wasnt really intended as a rant :P(too bad gravatar stuff doesn’t let you(generally meaning me not you) edit or delete posts to pare out irreverent info and condense things)

but at least if I edited your page I’d add good things

I think after adding and removing pretty much every kind of sue thing to get the one that fit((eventually settled on black hole I think)i kept reading after i posted much like here) I tripped a spam filter with like 100 edits all on a single line

this was meant to be a warning on that filter, then a clarification, then more info, then i realized the warning wasn’t actually needed, then I got distracted and typed about something else ;p

Basically I shouldn’t be near edit buttons I can constantly revise or posts I can’t alter cause I’d spam filter myself on random crap

If you think about it, Victus is probably the best candidate to fight Kolt. I was wondering if icing Kolt’s slime would be enough to lock him in place, and Victus has packed a set of claws for the occasion- exactly the same way Kirk and Bael!Victus took down the Slayer Demon earlier.

plus, Victus being an elf general that has knowledge of Kolt’s abilities (through Bael) can’t hurt either

BTW The “Ya don’t say meme”, Victus says it in such a hilarious voice in my head.
