even the electricity changed color…fascinating
I get the feeling that there will be quite a… shocking turn of events.
Ooh, too many video games… first thought was ‘Oops, too much bad karma XD’
I don’t think anyone has asked yet, so I think I will. How, and why, does Baal change the color of people’s clothes. I get that he preferes certain colors, but why do a major cosmetic change just because of that?
The “why” is the easy part. It’s an ego thing. He does it because he wants to be recognized as himself even when he’s in someone else’s body. Bael doesn’t get how it works but it comes so naturally to him that he doesn’t hesitate to do it the second he enters a new body.
The “how” depends on how you look at it. It’s either an illusion created with mana wavelengths, or he coats their cloths with his bile and makes the bile whatever color he wants. That’s not two different explanations, those are two descriptions of the same process. Bile is just slimy mana, after all.
Why is the color of the coat important? You said that we should “watch the color of the coat”, but why? Is Charlie going to take control back o something?
Oh, it’s just a vague hint at a plot point… to be slightly less vague: This is the last time Charlie is gonna wear that coat. And unlike Bael’s other dyed cloths, the coat stays brown.
I remember! The coat is gonna be Iggy’s! Seriously, if you look at the coat Iggy is wearing at the beginning of the comic, you’ll see that it’s the ame coat!
I jut figured it out! This coat is the same one that Iggy is wearing at the beginning of the comic! Simply brilliant way of making a continuity nod, since I was beginning to wonder where Iggy git his coat. Can’t wait for next Tuesday’s comic, I’m sure it’s gonna be awesome!
Sorry, my computer went a bit wonky there. Oh, and quick question. What the @$%# is up with Charlie’s mouth and eyes? Is it some sorta optical illusion with mana, or what’s the deal?
